- Abstract : A new three-dimensional coordination polymer [Mn(BPDC) (TIPA)]·DMF·H2 O (1 ) (H2 BPDC = biphenyl- 3, 4′-dicarboxylate, TIPA = tris[4-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)-phenyl]amine and DMF = N, N-dimethylformamide) was solvothermal synthesized by the assembly of Mn2+ ion, H2 BPDC and TIPA, respectively. The title complex [Mn(BPDC) (TIPA)]· DMF·H2 O (1 ) was characterized by IR, elemental analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Structure analysis reveals that complex1 display a 3, 5-connected twofold interpenetrated hms topology. Moreover, the luminescent property for complex1 is investigated at room temperature.
