- Abstract: A high acid concentration in the reaction medium is essential to obtain complete C‐2 regioselectivity in the arylation of N‐protected 7‐azaindoles and indoles Low acidity of the reaction medium is required to achieve 2‐mono‐arylation in pyrroles.
