Abstract: The osmium‐catalyzed dihydroxylation of aminomethylacrylates (I) affords functionalized diols of type (II) which are elaborated to yield 2‐(aminomethyl)oxirane‐2‐carboxylates, aziridine‐2‐carboxylates, and azetidine‐3‐carboxylates.
