- Abstract: The title compound is prepared by reaction of the elements in the ratio Pb:(P, As) = 1:1 and P:As ratios between 3:7 and 1:1 (evacuated quartz tubes, multistep heating at 423, 573, and 673 K, 48 h each) followed by the removal of the Pb flux.
