- Abstract: The front cover artwork is provided by Miguel A. Miranda and co‐workers at Instituto de Tecnología Química (UPV‐CSIC). The image shows that (6–4) photoproducts, primary UVB dimeric lesions, act as photosensitizers of cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers that are produced as secondary DNA lesions. Abstract : "The primary (6–4) dimeric DNA lesion acts as a photosensitizer, leading to the formation of secondary cyclobutane dimersor oxidative damage in its vicinity.
