Abstract

Abstract : In this paper, we discuss the relationship between fracture/vein orientation and the upwelling of deep‐seated water at the Shiotakibashi outcrop, Osaka prefecture, SW Japan. The dilation tendency calculations are performed on these fractures to identify potential fluid conduits under the present stress field. The measured fractures that host flowing fluids are favorable pathways for deep‐seated fluids under the present stress field.
