Abstract

Abstract: CsM II 4 In5 Te12 (M II : Mn (I), Zn (II), Cd (III)) are prepared by solid state reactions of CsCl, Zn or Cd, In, and Te in the molar ratio 5:4:5:12 (evacuated silica tubes, 1223 K, 4 d; cooling to 473 K at a rate of 5 K/h).
