- Abstract : (Abstracted from Female Pelvic Med Reconstr Surg 2016;22:111–117) Currently, it is common practice for urologists to place gauze packing vaginally after vaginal reconstructive surgery. Usually, the vaginal cavity is tightly filled with the packing, which is removed the morning of postoperative day 1.
