Abstract: 6‐Endo‐dig cyclization of alcoholic hydroxyl groups onto alkynes yields 1, 3‐disubstituted 1H‐pyrano[4, 3‐b]quinolines from ortho‐(arylethynyl)quinolinemethanol in good to excellent yields.
