- Abstract: The title synthesis is achieved from naphthoquinones [e.g. (I)] and alkyne‐tethered nitroalkenes [e.g. (II)] via a one‐pot sequential Michael addition/hydroalkoxylation reaction which are catalyzed by squaramide and silver(I) salt, respectively.
