- Abstract: A wide range of pyrazolone‐fused spirocyclohexadienones are obtained by reaction of α‐, β‐unsaturated aldehydes with α‐arylidene pyrazolinones involving a vinylogous Michael addition/spiroannulation/dehydrogenation cascade.
