Abstract

Abstract: The polycrystalline Na‐α′‐GeGaON (Nam Ge12‐ (m+n) Gam+n On N16‐n ) solid solution is prepared as a single phase by gas reduction—nitridation of mixtures of Na2 CO3, GeO2, and Ga2 O3 in the solubility range of m ≈0.8—1.7 with n ≈0.2—0.3 (Al2 O3 crucible, 875 °C, 4 h; NH3 /1.5 vol% methane stream).
