Abstract

Abstract : The back cover picture shows novel (1, 3, 5, 7, 9‐pentaazanona‐1, 3, 6, 8‐tetraenato)platinum(II) [abbreviated as (PANT)Pt II ] complexes that were obtained by metal‐mediated organonitrile, RCN, or dialkylcyanamide, R'2 NCN, double coupling with 2, 3‐diphenylmaleimidine. These annulated (PANT)Pt II systems demonstrate phosphorescence both in solution and in the solid state. Details are discussed in the article by P.‐T. Chou, V. Yu. Kukushkin et al. onp. 1480 ff .
