Abstract

Highlights: A subset of women enrolled in the REVERSE II study underwent a second, blinded assessment for signs of post-thrombotic syndrome (hyperpigmentation, edema, redness). Inter-observer agreement for these post-thrombotic signs is substantial for all women and moderate for women with deep vein thrombosis as part of their index event. Inter-observer agreement for the "HERDOO2" clinical decision rule as a whole is almost perfect. Application of "HERDOO2" is reproducible amongst various users to consistently classify women in high or low risks category.
