Abstract

Abstract : Summary: Intravenous acetylcysteine is used for the management of paracetamol overdose worldwide. Recently, there has been increasing recognition of its adverse effects. This article reviews the features of these reactions, the factors that affect their frequency, and ways to reduce their frequency and severity.
