- Abstract: Rhodium nanoparticles stabilized with [bmim]BF4 ionic liquid in combination with the Lewis acidic chlorozincate of the formula (ZnCl2 )0.67 ‐[bmim]Cl is found to be an efficient catalyst system for the highly chemoselective ring‐hydrogenation of functionalized quinolines, pyridines, and furans.
