- Abstract : A metal–elastomer‐foam composite that can be formed in three dimensions is presented by R. F. Shepherd and co‐workers on page 2801. The composite varies dramatically in mechanical properties—from rubbery to stiff—enabling shape change. It also stores shape memory, self‐heals, and welds into monolithic structures from smaller components.
