- Abstract : A key barrier to flexible electronics enabling the growth of the "internet of things" is the availability of a flexible semiconductor platform that allows the solution‐coated manufacture of digital components that operate at the required speeds. D. Martin Taylor and co‐workers from SmartKem and Bangor University report in article number 1500322 on an all‐organic semiconductor ring oscillator operating at world‐record speeds, proving the viability of fully printed RFID and NFC devices for the first time.
