- Highlights: Autoimmune seizures linked to Alpha 3 ganglionic acetylcholine receptor autoantibody. The patient presented with new onset refractory status epilepticus. Immunotherapy with steroids was successful. The diagnosis of autoimmune epilepsy requires a high level of suspicion.
