Abstract:: Abstract: This novel oxidation method takes advantage of interim covalent bonding of hydrogen peroxide to an amphiphilic pyridinium or diazinium salt to increase the lipophilicity of the hydroperoxide species which eventually allows for oxidation in a non‐polar medium.
