Abstract

Abstract: The recent uptake of molecular metathesis catalysts in specialty‐chemicals and pharmaceutical manufacturing is reviewed. Abstract : The metathesis industry : Olefin metathesis, the transformative potential of which was recognized with the Nobel Prize a decade ago, has changed the synthetic landscape in academia. This Minireview describes the beginning of a new era for metathesis in industry, illustrated by the first examples of its implementation in pharmaceutical and specialty‐chemicals manufacturing.
