- Abstract:
- Abstract : Although nutrition-related systematic reviews must be able to describe the level of science behind food and nutrient functions, they also need to evaluate the effectiveness of the healthcare professional's ability to facilitate behavior change leading to achieving optimal nutrient intake and ultimately positive health outcomes. Differing study designs may require different methodology, and analytical frameworks may need to expand to include additional variables. Two nutrition-specific systematic reviews were used to explore how some of the challenges identified in a recent Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality report have been addressed.
