Abstract:: Abstract : Selwynia, is regarded as a senior subjective synonym of Aphanodactylus (Crustacea: Brachyura: Pinnotheroidea: Aphanodactylidae). This synonymy does not affect the family name Aphanodactylidae. A diagnosis is provided for Selwynia laevis and this species is re-described.
