- Abstract : Compound4 has been developed as a pH dependent sensitiser for use in photodynamic therapy. Abstract : A new sensitiser (4 ) for use in photodynamic therapy (PDT) has been developed to enable control of ROS production as a function of pH. This pH dependent PDT behaviour was tested in HeLa cells and in SCID mice bearing human xenograft pancreatic cancer (BxPC-3) tumours.
