- Abstract : The performances of metal and nitrogen co‐doped carbon electrocatalysts obtained by pyrolysis suffer enormously from the irreversible fusion and aggregation of catalyst particles during pyrolysis. On page 1668, T. Zhang and co‐workers develop a mesoporous SiO2 ‐protected calcination strategy for the synthesis of a dispersive Co, N‐co‐doped carbon framework with outstanding oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) electrocatalytic activity from Co, Zn‐ZIF precursors. This strategy can be also suitable for other heteroatom‐doped carbon electrocatalysts prepared by pyrolysis.
