- Abstract : The water-soluble aromatic polyamide poly(3-sodium sulfo- p -phenylene terephthalamide) forms a hydrogel with anisotropy, which exhibits good thixotropic behaviour, even at the critical gel concentration of the gelator (1.0 wt%).
