Abstract

Abstract : Is deceitful action an acceptable resource in contemporary political arenas? Are weak leaders inevitable? The current article claims that similar questions are a consequence of the pace at which events change, of the plethora of diverse contexts in which leaders act, and of the plurality of followers and of interests. In a context that favors the personalization of politics, ambiguity is the best tool available. It renders the capacity to adapt, to be creative, and innovative.
