Abstract

Abstract : The Cover picture shows the conversion of lignin model compounds to phenol and benzoic acid as platform chemicals through a sodium tert ‐butoxide (NaO t Bu)‐mediated oxidative dehomologation reactions under oxygen atmosphere. This result raises the possibility for biomass conversion of natural lignin compounds.
