Abstract

Abstract: A variety of bridged, caged, and fused polycyclic systems is obtained from hydrazones by a cascade reaction sequence involving hydrazone decomposition, dediazotization, cyclopropanation, carbene generation, and C—H bond insertion using NaOTms and a rhodium catalyst.
