Abstract: Whole‐visible‐light absorption (≤900 nm) is achieved for a mixed‐valence Ag0.68 V2 O5 semiconductor photocatalyst which is prepared by hydrothermal reaction of AgNO3 and V2 O5 in an aqueous solution also containing PVP (autoclave, 140 °C, 12 h).
