- Abstract : Extremely strong and ductile Cu/Ta bulk nanocomposites are fabricated by liquid metal dealloying. These materials exhibit a complex two‐phase microstructure with a tunable length scale that allows for a significant increase in strength with decreasing feature size. Their yield behavior is consistent with a bulk manifestation of size effects previously associated only with nanofabricated materials.
