- Abstract: The key steps of the asymmetric total synthesis of the trisoxazole marine macrolides, mycalolides A and B, are the convergent construction of highly functionalized C‐1—C‐19 trisoxazole and C‐20—C‐35 side chain segments using the olefin metathesis and esterification as well as the Julia—Kocienski olefination and enamide formation.
