Abstract

Abstract : A highly transmissive, multiple antireflective surface inspired by bilayer 3D ultrafine hierarchical structures in butterfly wing scales is fabricated on a glass substrate using a facile wet‐chemical biomimetic fabrication method. On page 713, S. Niu and co‐workers describe how the biomimetic antireflective surface exhibits not only excellent antireflective properties but also high transmission, which can also significantly reduce reflection without losing transparency. These findings offer a new path for generating nanostructured antireflectors with high‐transmission properties.
