- Abstract : Front Cover : A perylene bisimide derivative (PBI) as a role of sensitizer forms the charge transfer (CT) complex with the polymer matrix of poly(4‐(diphenylamino)benzyl acrylate) (PDAA) in a photorefractive composite system. This formation favorizes the generation of the charge carriers followed by an effective enhancement in the photo‐refractive performances. Interestingly, with only small amount (0.1 wt%) of PBI, an external diffraction efficiency of 49% with response time of 47 ms, and sensitivity of 28 cm 2 J −1 can be obtained under an applied electric field of 40 V μm −1 at writing beam of 532 nm.
