- Abstract: Triisopropylsilylethynyl bromide reacts with alkene‐tethered activated carbonyl compounds, thus allowing for the formation of five‐membered carbocycles in high yields and six‐membered carbocycles in moderate yields, albeit with low diastereoselectivities.
