Abstract

Abstract: Crystals of Ba2 AsGaSe5 are prepared by a solid state reaction of a 4:1:1 molar mixture of BaSe, As2 Se3, and Ga2 Se3 (evacuated silica tubes, 900 °C, 2 d; cooling to 350 °C at a rate of 3 °C/h).
