- Abstract: The tandem oxa—Michael—Michael reaction of 2‐nitrovinyl phenols (I) with enal (II) followed by reaction of intermediate chromanes with oxindoles (III) leads to chroman‐fused spirooxindoles (IV) with high enantioselectivities and good diastereoselectivities.
