Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Protein surface recognition</bold> by synthetic receptors is a challenging goal in the analytical biosciences owing to the immense complexity of the biological targets. In their Full Paper on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 15981 ff.</ext-link>, D. Margulies et al. describe the development of a method for tracking changes that occur on the surfaces of specific proteins with fluorescent molecular probes.
