<abstract abstract-type="main" xml:lang="en"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>The ternary compounds EuAu<sub>0.46</sub>In<sub>1.54</sub> (I), EuAu<sub>4.75</sub>In<sub>1.25</sub> (II), EuAu<sub>4.93</sub>In<sub>1.07</sub>, EuAu<sub>5.03</sub>In<sub>0.97</sub>, and Eu<sub>5</sub>Au<sub>17.29</sub>In<sub>4.71</sub> (III) are prepared from the elements (Ta tubes, 800 °C for 12 h and annealing at 300 °C for 3 d).</p> </abstract>
