Among participants in the two RT groups, reduced WML progression over 12 months was significantly associated with maintenance of gait speed (correlation coefficient (<italic>r</italic>) = −0.31, <italic>P</italic> = .049) but not with executive functions (<italic>r</italic> = 0.30; <italic>P</italic> = .06).</p> </sec> <sec id="jgs13644-sec-0008" sec-type="section"> <title>Conclusion</title> <p>Engaging in progressive RT may reduce WML progression.</p> </sec> </abstract> … (more)
