- <abstract abstract-type="author-highlights" id="abs0005"> <title id="sect0005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="spar0080"> <list id="lis0005"> <list-item id="lsti0005"> <label></label> <p id="par0005">Fe(OH)<sub>3</sub> nanoparticles were prepared in an acidic environment in the presence of chloride ions.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0010"> <label></label> <p id="par0010">The Fe(OH)<sub>3</sub> catalyst increased the molar ratio of OH radical:ozone as high as 0.68.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0015"> <label></label> <p id="par0015">Cooking oil fumes were reactive toward OH radical over Fe(OH)<sub>3</sub> ozonation in the vapor phase.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0020"> <label></label> <p id="par0020">The catalytic selectivity of Fe(OH)<sub>3</sub> depended on the amount of OH radicals.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="lsti0025"> <label></label> <p id="par0025">Long-term testing for 300 h at a 190 °C proved the thermal stability of Fe(OH)<sub>3</sub>.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
