- <abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="adma201501749-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>The coupling between magnetization and polarization</bold> in a room temperature multiferroic (Pb(Zr, Ti)O<sub>3</sub>–Pb(Fe, Ta)O<sub>3</sub>) is explored by monitoring the changes in capacitance that occur when a magnetic field is applied in each of three orthogonal directions. Magnetocapacitance effects, consistent with <italic>P</italic><sup>2</sup><italic>M</italic><sup>2</sup> coupling, are strongest when fields are applied in the plane of the single crystal sheet investigated. <graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgkhm1fdzf" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></p> </abstract>
