Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="smll201500635-abs-0001"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Au nanoparticles (NPs) uniformly embedded into an ultrathin hollow graphene nanoshell</bold> (Au@HGN) are synthesized using a facile template‐based procedure. The obtained Au@HGN catalyst exhibits robust and stable catalytic performance in the reduction of 4‐nitrophenol to 4‐aminophenol, compared with that of traditional Au/TiO₂ and previously reported Au‐ and Ag‐based catalysts. <graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgkfpz20h7" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></p> </abstract>
