Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en" id="cam4490-abs-0002"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p>This is one of only a handful of studies examining the prognostic and predictive capacity of body mass index (BMI) in mCRC patients. The BMI is predictive of a poorer outcome for underweight and overweight patients in the whole population. Of those receiving chemotherapy and targeted therapy, a raised BMI is an independent predictor for poorer overall survival for overweight and obese I patients, specifically for Bevacizumab.
