<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Propylene Epoxidation Catalysts</bold>. Cu⁺ active sites on a Cu₂O surface are stabilized with TiO_{<italic>x</italic>}. J. G. Chen et al. show in their Communication on <ext-link ext-link-type="doi" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">page 11946 ff.</ext-link> that the resulting mixed oxide helps form an oxametallacycle intermediate with propylene giving higher selectivity for propylene epoxidation.<graphic position="anchor" mimetype="image" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2xz852wh" orientation="portrait" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" /></p> </abstract>
