Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="main"> <title>Abstract</title> <p>In this article, we report a new 3‐D backlight display for glasses‐free 2‐D/3‐D switchable displays. In this type of 3‐D display, 3‐D works by line patterned back light unit. But light leakages from the 3‐D light guide cause degrade the 3‐D performance. We analyze the light leakages from light guide plate and suggest a novel backlight structure design to improve x‐talk performance.</p> </abstract>
