Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="graphical" xml:lang="en"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <bold>Modular Porphyrinoid Assembly</bold> A porphyrin–corrole–porphyrin hybrid capable of stabilizing different metal ions in a single molecular scaffold has been designed and synthesized. Homo‐ and heterotrinuclear metal complexes of the hybrid have been achieved. This new hybrid paves the way for new explorations into photoactive multi‐metallic magnetic and molecular catalytic systems. In addition to this, the presence of two substituent‐free <italic>meso‐</italic>positions may facilitate further synthetic modifications of the basic framework.
