<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2qrrvpn4" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />A Pd/HT catalyst with an average particle size of 2.3 nm and an electron-deficient Pd surface is synthesized by modified deposition–precipitation, and exhibits enhanced catalytic performance in the solvent-free oxidation of benzyl alcohol.</p> </abstract>
