Abstract

<abstract abstract-type="toc"> <title> <x xml:space="preserve">Abstract</x> </title> <p> <graphic position="anchor" id="ga" xlink:href="ark:/27927/pgj2qrn30cd" xlink:type="simple" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" />The reactions of isolable dialkysilylene <bold>1</bold> with compounds <bold>5</bold> and <bold>6</bold> gave elusive silacycles, 2<italic>H</italic>-1, 2-oxasiletes <bold>2</bold> and <bold>3</bold>, respectively, with releasing dinitrogen. In contrast, six-membered cyclic diazo compound <bold>8</bold> was obtained in a good yield by the reaction of <bold>1</bold> with less reactive <bold>7</bold>.</p> </abstract>
