<abstract xml:lang="en" abstract-type="author-highlights" id="ab005"> <title id="st005">Highlights</title> <sec> <p id="sp0005"> <list id="l0005"> <list-item id="o0005"> <label></label> <p id="p0005">We characterized GPS-TEC over Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during 2010–2013.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="o0010"> <label></label> <p id="p0010">TEC over Addis Ababa recorded minimum values at 0400–0500 LT and maximum at 1400–1500 LT.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="o0015"> <label></label> <p id="p0015">TEC recorded the highest values during equinoxes and the least during June solstices.</p> </list-item> <list-item id="o0020"> <label></label> <p id="p0020">TEC increases with solar activity, and of all the three options of IRI-2012, NeQuick was most accurate.</p> </list-item> </list> </p> </sec> </abstract>
